E.L.I.T.E PROGRAM 

E.L.I.T.E.  is about equipping today's youth with skills, confidence, and character needed to lead in a rapidly changing world.  The program emphasizes empowerment through education, mentorship, and personal growth, and also fostering leadership qualities that go beyond traditional roles.

WHO WE SERVE? 

- Middle & High School Students 

- Boys & Girls 

- Ages 12 - 18 years old 

- (19 IF still in High School)

Our vision is to create a generation of well rounded, ethical leaders who are prepared to face the challenges of tomorrow.  Through E.L.I.T.E., We aim to inspire and develop young people (boys & Girls) who will make a positive impact in their communities and the world, leading with integrity, resilience, and a forward-thinking mindset.

Here are some important and relevant topics we address during the E.L.I.T.E. program! 

1. MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS

   - Understanding mental health, and recognizing the signs of mental health issues and the importance of seeking help. 

   - Coping Mechanisms, teaching healthy ways to manage stress, anxiety, and depression. 

   - Mindfulness and self-care techniques to maintain mental and emotional balance. 

2. SOCIAL MEDIA AND DIGITAL LITERACY

   - Digital footprint, such as the impact of online behavior on future opportunities.

   - Cyberbullying and online safety, and handling negative interactions and maintaining respect online.

   - Balancing screen time, and managing the effects of social media and technology on mental health and productivity. 

3. IDENTITY AND SELF-CONFIDENCE 

   - Self-discovery, and exploring personal strengths, values, passions, and vision.

   - Body image and media influence, through navigating societal pressures and developing a positive self-image.

   - Cultural identity and inclusion, and embracing diversity and understanding the importance of inclusivity.

​4. LEADERSHIP AND CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT

   - Ethical decision-making, and understanding right from wrong and making choices that reflect strong moral principles.

   - Teamwork and collaboration, with building effective communication and cooperation skills.

   - Public speaking and presentation skills, and learning how to express themselves confidently in various settings. 

5. RESPECT AND HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS

   - Respecting boundaries, and understanding personal space, consent, and mutual respect in relationships.

   - Conflict resolution, and constructive ways to handle disagreements and maintain healthy relationships.

   - Respect for authority, and balancing personal beliefs with respect for authority figures like parents, teachers, and community leaders.

6. CAREER READINESS AND FINANCIAL LITERACY

   - Exploring career options, and understanding different career paths and what it takes to succeed in various fields.

   - Resume building and interview skills.  Preparing for the job market with practical tools.

   - Basic financial literacy, learning about budgeting, saving, and understanding credit to build a secure financial future. 

7. SOCIAL JUSTICE 

   - Understanding social issues discussing topics like racism, sexism, environmental justice, and inequality. 

   - Community service with encouraging youth to engage in community projects and to understand their role in societal change. 

8. EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND ANGER MANAGEMENT

   - Understanding emotions; recognizing and naming different emotions.

   - Managing anger techniques to control and express anger in a healthy way. 

   - Building empathy; learning to understand and respect other's feelings and perspective.

9. SUBSTANCE ABUSE AWARENESS

   - Understanding risk and the dangers of drugs, alcohol, weed, and vaping.

   - Peer pressure strategies to resist pressure and make healthy choices. 

   - Seeking help, learning where to go for support if struggling with substance use.

10. PERSONAL SAFETY AND DECISION MAKING

   - Awareness of surroundings with staying safe in various environments, both online and offline.

   - Making smart choices weighing risks and benefits when faced with difficult decisions. 

   - Handling peer Pressure with developing the confidence to stand up for personal values.

These topics not only address immediate challenges faced by youth, but also prepare them for long-term success in their personal and professional lives.  Each topic can be tailored to the specific age group and needs of the participants
